Explanation: The way that I would explain this magazine cover is by saying that this cover is very old some where in the 1844 was that date that it was released to the public eye. i would also like to say that this magazine is not like the ones that we have in this thin of year. You can also see that this magazine only has the magazine title the publication date and last the cover as in the picture it does not have little headings telling you what it would have inside the magazine. That is my description for this early magazine cover.

If the cropping box you drew was not exactly the way you liked it then all you have to do is click on your mouse cursor change into different arrows that indicate how that anchor point will shape the crop.
Basically you are telling Photoshop which dimensions the image should result in after your crop. This is sometimes at the center of some confusion because if you lock in dimensions, your crop box will be forced into a certain ratio.

Blog #2 - Best magazine covers of 2013 and the last 40 Years & My Favorite Cover
Favorite cover
Winner
New York, November 12, 2013: "The City and the Storm"
Shot on the Wednesday evening after Hurricane Sandy hit, Iwan Baan’s photograph of Manhattan, half aglow and half dark, captured the larger story of a powerful city rendered powerless. A true viral phenomenon, the image became an instant icon of the event—magazine cover that many New Yorkers have saved for posterity. In fact, a poster version was offered for sale by the Museum of Modern Art.
Critique
I would like to say that this magazine cover is absolutely fabulous. The reason that I really like it is because of how the photographer of this picture captured the real beauty of the city at night. I mean just looking at this photo is breath taking. I specifically love how the lights of the city look in it. Also can you talk about how amazing the view point that this photograph was taken at.I just don't have so many words for this its absolutely phenomenal. I would just like to say that the photographer (Iwan Baan)of this photo was this was absolutely genius.
Blog #1 - Magazine Essential Parts
Masthead (logo)- This would be the head title for your magazine cover.
Dateline-This means that your magazine cover would have a date and not just any date but the date when it was published out into the world.
Main Image-Your magazine would have to have a main focus and that just happens to be your main image as in you would have to have a model.
Model Credit- As you are making your magazine cover you wold have to give your model some credit a simple compliment and their name by it would be a good way to give them credit.
Cover Lines- It would just basically mean that you would have other little cover that are all around your model (your main focus), but as you but the cover lines around make sure it doesn't take to much space from you model.
Main Cover Lines- It promotes what you are trying to promote but for this you would have to make it really clear as in you should give it a blank background so it makes it more clear and out their.
Left Third-This is vital for the sales in the shops where the magazine is not shown full-frontage.
Bar Code- Used for bar code used by retailers.
Selling Line-This just shows a short description of the titles main making point.

What was the best ISO setting to use for your portraits?
I would have to say that my best ISO as in my number one would have to be the one with 400. The reason why i think this ones the best is because of how the light came out in the photo it is really bright and nice.
What was your next best photo?
I think that the next best photo out of these would have to be the one with the ISO 800. I think that this one is the second best because of how the photo came out as in the model was posing and she came out pretty good.
Were you able to create equivalent exposures to your best photo by changing the aperture and shutter speed?
Yes i was able to create equvalent exposer by changing the aperture and shutter speed.
What did you learn from this activity that you will apply to your real portrait shoot?
What i learn from this activity that i will apply to my really portrait shoot is that i will be able to change my aperture and my shutter speed to make it look better.
